ABA releases strategic review into Australia’s Consumer Data Right (CDR) regime

The Australian Banking Association ("ABA") recently released the findings of a strategic review undertaken by Accenture into the roll-out of Australia’s Consumer Data Right (CDR) regime. No doubt it has stimulated some debate/discussion.

It's an interesting read with a message of note from the ABA being “It’s time to go back to the drawing board.” I do hope we (NZ) take on board, where relevant, the learnings from both Australia and other jurisdictions as we advance our own CRD/Open banking initiatives. To that end, there is a very interesting page #32 (shown below), which shows a jurisdictional comparison across markets, including Singapore, India and Brazil who have relatively high adoption rates.
