Mosaic Principal Consultant, Dr Jason Cordier took part in a panel at the 13th annual Fund Business Summit at the invite of our strategic partner 1886 Consulting.
Jason observed that the consistent theme from the Summit was that sustainability reporting is moving beyond disclosure and increasingly becoming a question of capability. The conversations reinforced for me that strong governance, defensible evidence and cross-functional ownership will be critical as organisations move from first-time compliance toward genuinely decision-useful reporting.

Throughout 2026, we have been partnering with Mosaic FSI, New Zealand based specialist consultancy.
Last week 1886 Consulting was pleased to be a supporting partner for the 13th annual Fund Business Funds Summit. Dr Jason Cordier from Mosaic took to the stage as a panel member with Jillian Button, Ros McKay GAICD and Justin He, CPA , FRM where Jason shared lessons from New Zealand’s climate reporting journey.
The discussion went beyond reporting itself, exploring governance, evidence and traceability, scenario analysis and, importantly, how climate considerations become embedded into the way organisations make decisions.
Jason explored what organisations are learning as climate reporting matures, from governance and accountability, evidence and traceability, through to scenario analysis and embedding climate considerations into existing business processes and decision-making.
At 1886, our partnership with Mosaic brings together complementary perspectives and experience to help organisations navigate these increasingly complex challenges in a practical and commercially relevant way.
We’re delighted to see Jason contributing those insights to the broader Australian funds community.
